Kevin Wither Ford
Take Control...
TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR CITY
Full Name: Kevin Trevor Ford
Nicknames: Wither, Death Touch Boy
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Location: Xavier institute
Origin: Marvel
Play-By: Evan Peters (suck it Quicksilver)
Height: 5'7"
Hair: Scruffy, Long, Brown
Eyes: Green
Typical Clothing/Uniform: Kevin's constantly dressed from head to toe in black and synthetic black material as well. He's often seen in black turtlenecks, snarky t-shirts and black jeans. However since Kevin needs to be covered all over, he wears long black gloves to cover his hands and arms. Kevin's also got a lip ring, an eyebrow ring, a nose ring and a few earrings, all silver.
Powers/Abilities
Kevin’s powers cause his skin to decay and destroy organic material. Organics include everything from cotton clothing to human skin. Kevin’s powers work instantly upon the organic material's contact with any part of his skin including every portion of his body but he needs to hold on in order to cause serious decay. His powers break down organic materials from the inside dissolving and decaying. It's the actual decay that causes the death not Kevin's powers, so if he were to touch, say your arm and remove it quickly, you may be injured but you will not die.
Team Affiliation: Xavier Students
Personality: Kevin’s slightly optimistic despite his powers, dreaming of one day learning to control his powers so he can have a normal life. He believes everyone’s powers are special and useful and longs to one day control his.
However, his powers are still a soft spot for the kid, causing him to turn inward if someone brings them up. He’s rather insecure about his powers and despite doing his best to hide it, it shows up quite often. Kevin likes to surround himself with metal because he can’t decay it. However, he’s a loyal friend and if you've worked your way into his heart Kevin will stay by your side no matter what. However if you get on the wrong side of him watch out; he may be introverted but He’s not too introverted to call you out.
All in all, he’s a sweet kid with a rather tragic past that he tries not to keep him down. However, its growing more and more difficult to keep control.

Family: Father & Mother (Deceased)
Marital status: Single (Jakkie might disagree)
History:
Kevin’s tragedy started at birth when his mother, a kindhearted Southern belle from Atlanta, died giving birth to him. His father, while distraught over his wife’s death, took his son into his arms and vowed to be the best father he could be for little Kevin. He worked to keep his son happy but didn't overwork, spending time with his son every minute he could. He nurtured Kevin’s artistic and academic side and convinced the boy that he could do anything if he worked hard and put his mind to it. Kevin excelled in art and in school. His social life wasn't as bubbling as most kids saw his as weird. But Kevin never gave up trying to make friends. It was during these younger years that Kevin developed a love for the X-Men, seeing them as outsiders who beat all odds to become superheroes. Kevin was convinced that if he was a mutant, he’d be just like them.
Unfortunately for the youth, his wish to become like the X-Men would come true with devastating consequences. It started one day when he was changing for school. His clothes suddenly began to decay on his body. No matter how many of his T-Shirts he put on they’d always end up the same way, as dust on the floor. Kevin’s father heard his son’s panicked cries and started up the stairs to see what was wrong. Kevin explained to his father what had happened and his father reached out a hand to comfort his crying child. However, that would prove a fatal mistake on his part as when he touched his son’s bare shoulder, he was instantly killed. Kevin tried his best to wake his father up and, upon realizing he was dead, held onto him crying. His power began to eat away at his father until he was reduced to a pile of dust. Kevin was horrified and, finding something that didn’t decay upon touching him which in this case was a synthetic sheet, rushed out of the house.
Kevin was wandering on the streets of the Georgian suburb, unsure of what to do about his current state. Deciding he’d go to live in the local junkyard where he would steal scrap metal occasionally. He lived there for maybe a week before he was discovered. A guard dog was sicked on the boy whom he instantly killed when the dog bit him. The junkyard workers were convinced he was a dangerous mutant and were about to beat the boy senseless before they were attacked and staved off by a local mutant. Explaining what happened to the kindhearted older male, Kevin found himself bandaged up, placed in synthetic clothing and sent straight to New York City to meet his heroes the X-Men! He was given his own room and started school with a smile.

Sample Post:
Kevin breathed outward, running his fingers through his thick brown hair. He leaned on the wall and looked at his books. Genetics. Ffft. Perhaps he could find out why he grabbed the genetic short straw and turned into a death trap. He rolled his eyes and rose.
"Okay Ford, let's get this day started," he said softly, turning his frown into a grin, "Maybe I'll make some friends. Y'know...this week." He breathed outwards again and opened a classroom door, dealing with the whispers and the noises. His eyes narrowed, closed and opened again.
His rear planted in the seat in the back of the room. Great. This was gonna be a brilliant school year.
