(June 3rd, open to all)
"Ugh, this city is FILTHY."
But she had to be there. In the subway. YUCK.
She couldn't get a cab though. It was rush hour. And separated from Brian, she had to get home. In case her twin needed her. So there she stood waiting with the peons for the subway. Ugh. Commoners. She flipped her hair to the side. Checked her watch. Sneered at some kid leering at her. Yeah, in what world pal. She snorted as the subway pushed up to her. She was way downtown. This was gonna be a super long ride.
She sat on a subway seat after dusting it off. She looked disgusted. The subway. YUCK.

Avery didn't honestly spend a lot of time socializing on the subway if he could help it. Traveling in any form, actually he preferred not to talk, white earphones both plugged in and music playing on his phone. It was tucked in one of his jacket pockets with his hand, as he leaned back in the seat and bounced his leg. But just because he didn't like talking on the subway, didn't mean he wasn't going to look at people.
Like this blonde girl who was waaay to privileged to be sitting across from him on the subway. He made sure to be careful that he wasn't watching too closely. He didn't want to get called out, but he did note the way she brushed her seat off. She looked like she was about ready to drop someone dead with the look on her face. Just the sort of business Avery was going to get himself into here.
He grabbed one of the cords from his earphones and leaned forward after she'd sat down and the subway started to move.
"F'you don't mind me saying miss, you look a little out of place." he commented. Maybe with some conversation she'd ease up a bit. She clearly didn't belong here. Still, he allowed an almost genuine smile to curl, but perhaps it was a little too amused. "Subway's not your first choice, is it?"

"F'you don't mind me saying miss, you look a little out of place." Sophie lifted her head from staring at some unidentifiable smudge on the subway floor. Her face looked deadly at first, orbs narrowed to slits before she focused on the speaker. Her eyes widened back up as she looked towards him. Her thin lips, smirked towards the male as he continued. "Subway's not your first choice, is it?"
"Not particularly," Sophie purred, seductively pulling on the strap of her sandals, "I prefer above ground transportation." She lifted back from her bent down position. "How about you, handsome?"

He was a little taken aback by her forwardness, but didn't let it show. He let a smile linger on his face, and though it was mostly friendly it was a little calculating. He was thinking. This was definitely not the kind of girl Avery was interested, though she was clearly a tad interesting in him at least.. She was too pretty and obviously too rich. To her question, he shrugged, spreading his hands.
"I think if we all had the choice we'd like higher methods." he admitted. That wasn't entirely true. Avery didn't mind the subway and the somewhat gritty charms that came with it. It fit his personality too well.
"Bunker down though," he nodded with a friendly wink, "You'll make it out of here alive." he promised, almost with a teasing voice. The germs wouldn't kill her, and random attacks weren't common enough that she'd be the one to be caught in any crossfires.
