She raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. He didn't seem to be using his power anymore- whatever that happened to be. It had a distinct feeling. Well wasn't he a talkative one, pulling at the angles he seemed to think would appeal to her most. That's what he seemed to be doing anyways. But he didn't have a full understanding of Amanda just yet, and what she was interested in. Still, she rolled her tongue in her mouth and looked to the roof like she was thinking hard.
"Proactive.... And what exactly about you is proactive for me?" she challenged. "You're persuasive, but I can get what I want without whatever it is you do." powers of persuasion? Something similar anyways, but she didn't want to stick around to find out. She detached her arms from his shoulder and stepped back from his grasp.
"I'm not interesting in looking after some kid who wouldn't even tell me his name." she grinned grimly. He was going to have to try harder than that if he wanted to convince her, especially after everything he'd done. "But you seem to spoil fun well enough. Maybe the X-men suit you. I hear they have an excellent baby-sitting program!"
She gave a smile with mock sympathy, and turned to leave.

It surprised him how much the snub struck home. Kid, baby, X-Men. Red hot sizzling rage crackled through him as she turned away. If he let her go, she'd be gone for good. He was pretty certain of that, no matter his sales pitch.
"Leuce!" He called at her back. "You can fight to get what you want. I never have to. I make people want to give it to me."
He snatched out, grabbing hold of two men fighting with different girls. He could see his father in the back of his mind, eyeing him like a diseased mutt. Puppy, she'd called him. What the fuck did she know?
"You two are going to fight until one of you can't stand, and then whoever's less injured is going to keep fighting till someone is unconscious." he told the men, letting loose the flood of anger, betrayal, longing. He wanted to hurt someone, he wanted Leuce to see it. For once, he didn't want to be the object of everyone's disapproval.
He jerked back as the dumber of the two lunged at the other, spinning round and grabbing more, forcing them to join in. Body's began smashing into one another - girls shrieking and climbing over one another to get clear as it turned into an all out brawl. In the chaos he lost track of Leuce, shoving people out of his way as like a storm cloud he went to the bar, the bar tender already out from behind it trying to help the bouncers rein in the crazed mob. using a stool he jumped onto the counter, reaching behind he grabbed a bottle, and yanking off the pouring spout tipped it back, downing several gulps before he could take in his own mess.
Good. he thought to himself. Let them all kill one other. That's what they really want.

When she looked over her shoulder to stick her tongue out at him, she saw something a little different than what she was looking for. Not the sad pathetic puppy because he didn't get his way, didn't get to play in the big leagues. Although in a sense that's also what it was, but on a more dangerous level. He wasn't as dumb as she thought... But the brawl did break out into something bigger than she expected.
With the screeches and high energy, people began rushing in, and also away. One person had rammed her shoulder pretty good to which she unleashed a fairly feral growl. She could feel her temperature rising. If anyone else wanted a shove, they were going to get some pretty nasty scorches, which a couple did. But she'd managed to navigate her way out of the fray.
But Amanda wasn't done just yet. That little shit was still here- she knew it. He wanted it too badly. And there he was, watching his own chaos. She was to his left, so she marched straight up to him, avoiding the few last fleeing girls on her way. She stood, a good meter or so away. Her clothes were singing a little- but otherwise her heat level was lowering again.
"My real name's not Leuce." She announced darkly. She spoke whether he'd spotted her approaching or not, but she wasn't done yet.
"When I want you... I will find you."
No smiles or grins to say that wasn't a threat. Her eyes alone looked like they could kill Alec on the spot, and though that wasn't her mutation, who's to say she couldn't try. One last, long unreadable stare and she turned her back on him again.

Satisfaction, heady and dangerous, sung out in Alec. Threat, promise, whatever she meant, he'd found a hole in the other side. A way in. He lifted the bottle in toast, but didn't know if she caught it as she turned and left. He didn't call out to her this time, mulling over what she'd said in his mind.
My real name's not Leuce.
In the end, he supposed that didn't matter. She didn't know his name, and he didn't know hers. But he'd gotten what he hadn't even realized he came here for.
Leaping off the counter, he took a final swig, then threw the bottle back into the bar with a violent swing so it smashed on the back wall. Sticking his hands in his jeans, he maneuvered his way along the edge of the fray, and followed the frantic crowd out into the cool night air, into the red and blue flashing lights and sirens.
